P003 → ‘Raising Octopus As Pet’ Project
This is a project I did for the Design Discipline Project—Illustration course at RMIT University.
Everyone knows how fascinating it is to raise a pet. The most common pets that people usually keep are cats and dogs; sometimes there are hamsters, birds, reptiles, etc. There is one very unique animal that we can hardly ever see in any household: the octopus. In order to raise an octopus as a pet, there are many special requirements so that the octopus can adapt to living in captivity. Because octopuses are born solitary creatures, they do better in the wild. For this project, I want to produce a list of outcomes that can help people on their journey of learning about this exotic creature, and if people happen to really want to raise it, they will be provided with suitable need-to-know information so that they can keep the animal in its best state and give them perfect care, love, and a place like home.
